Faye Heath

Faye Heath BACP BPS

Faye is a Trainee Counselling Psychologist and she is in her last year of training, she is a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and BPS (British Psychological Society). Her training is underpinned by combining Counselling with the rigour of Psychology and this includes studying a range of different modalities, at present she currently specialises in CBT, Person-Centred and Psychodynamic approaches to therapy although she tends to work integratively. As a Counselling Psychologist Faye believes that evidence practice should be at the heart of therapy and aims to help each person through a collaborative therapeutic relationship and effective practice.

Faye has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Criminology, and a Masters’ degree in both Psychological Research methods and Counselling Psychology and has worked in a range of different settings with several client groups. This includes psychiatric services, NHS, children’s homes, schools, counselling services in the charity sector and residential parenting assessment. She used to be a Samaritans volunteer which she also thoroughly enjoyed.

Faye offers a non-judgemental, warm, accepting, authentic therapeutic relationship with each person to aid them on their journey to recovery in order to gain a better sense of self to reach their full potential.
