Lucy Parker HCPC

I am an experienced Art Psychotherapist, (HCPC ) and Clinical Supervisor, (CYP-IAPT)

I work with children, adolescents, adults, parents, and students. I can support you with issues such as, but not limited to, Anger, Anxiety and stress, Attachment disorder, Bereavement, Bullying, Depression, Identity, Low Mood, Low self-esteem, relationship problems, Trauma and more.

I have over 10 years’ experience of working in Education, Charity, and the NHS. Currently I balance my private practice and working as a School Psychotherapist.

Art Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses art and creativity as a primary mode of communication. It is particularly helpful way to express oneself emotionally, it can be less confrontational, when words might be hard to find. The aim of this work is to explore difficult thoughts and feelings in a safe therapeutic space. It can be a place to offload and create positive change.

You do not have to be good at art to do art to do psychotherapy! You also do not have to use art materials; you can just talk. Although my training was based on psychodynamic principles and Jungian analytical psychology, I have developed a creative and flexible approach to my practice.

I offer a 15-minute free telephone consultation. I can work short term and long term, face to face and online.

Fees: £70.00
