Sarah is a qualified Integrative counsellor which means she draws on a variety of models and techniques to help you, her client, bring awareness of thoughts, feelings and emotions to life events or circumstances that may be causing you pain through talking therapy. She will actively listen as you talk freely, providing an objective, non-judgmental and supportive ear to help you achieve clarity and make real-life progress.
Sarah believes that anyone can benefit from extra support and guidance, and it is a sign of strength to say ‘I need some help with this’. Counselling can work for anyone, regardless of age, gender, belief system, or background. As you are prepared to embrace change then there is no reason why it won’t work for you. Taking this important first step can open doors for you, freeing you from any limiting beliefs, troublesome thoughts or unwanted habits or behaviours.
Sarah will work collaboratively with you to explore skills and techniques and find the one that fits you and your needs to give you an optimum chance of success.
Areas she has worked with clients on include anger, stress and anxiety, depression, grief, goal achievement, building confidence, domestic abuse and guilt and shame. Sarah provides short solution-focused therapy, or open-ended depending on your needs.
