Dominic Palmer-Brown

I have a strong interest in supporting clients who experience loss, illness, anxiety, depression, and bereavement. Before embarking on my training, I had a career in the UK’s most diverse universities, involving personal tutoring, mentoring and leadership, and this has given me an understanding of the challenges of balancing work and life.

I have an emphatic, person-centred approach to therapy and counselling, and incorporate other approaches to suit the client and their concerns. I offer a safe, confidential space for the client to explore their thoughts and emotions, and to help them consider what may be causing their anxiety, from the past or in the present.

Each person’s experience is unique and my own has helped me to develop a deep affinity for understanding the client and their experiences, whatever they may be; and in helping them to find ways to lead more fulfilling lives by coming to terms with the past, living fully in the present and embracing the future.

I am currently studying for a master’s degree in psychotherapy and counselling.
