Fabiola (Pronouns: She/Her) is an integrative counselling psychotherapist. She is a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and abides by their ethical framework. Fabiola believes that we have the answers we seek within ourselves and that being in a safe space to navigate our thoughts and feelings will help develop our self-compassion, leading to better mental health and a more fulfilling life.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative, which means she uses different theories and tools based on her clients’ needs and is influenced by person centred and psychodynamic approaches. Fabiola has vast experience of working with anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, career and work related issues and trauma.
As a therapist Fabiola will encourage you to bring your own issues to each session and the counselling will be led by you. She will help you explore your views, behaviours, feelings and beliefs, so you can gain more self-awareness and independence. Her approach is also underpinned by creating a collaborative environment ensuring the therapy is continuously reviewed and adapted to your needs.
Fabiola moved to South London from her native Chile as a teenager and is bilingual in Spanish and English. She is also a trained career and personal development coach and is a part-time consultant in the charity sector. Her qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Humanistic and Psychodynamic Counselling, a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Master’s Degree in Career Coaching.
