Jemima Pearson

I am an integrative based trainee psychotherapist drawing from a selection of modalities. I am passionate about supporting people overcome personal challenges, improve their relationships, and access their most authentic selves. I intend to support the needs and personal circumstances of every individual through working in a way that appreciates, affirms, and values individuality. My practice is particularly informed by the Person-centred approach whilst drawing upon models from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Gestalt and Existential therapies as well.

One of the most important parts of therapy is our therapeutic relationship. My therapeutic style allows clients to feel at ease with vulnerability while ensuring they feel safe through exploration towards self-awareness. I place the client at the centre of my practice as the expert of their life with the inner ability to implement a process of transformational growth. My goal is to seek a balance between ensuring the client feels understood and supported while also confronting any obstacles standing in the way to lead a more fulfilling life.

Jemima is a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy). Jemima is training towards a Masters in Psychotherapy and Counselling at Regents University London and working towards her UKCP accreditation.
