Often in life, we encounter emotional struggles and challenges that can sometimes feel too overwhelming to overcome. Sometimes we feel confused about our feelings and want to understand ourselves better and make sense of our past and relationships. Whatever your goals, I can offer a space for you to be heard and valued, where you can work through painful emotions and explore your thoughts free from judgement. I believe each of us has the unique and innate ability for self-awareness and self-compassion to develop toward our potential. The therapeutic relationship can help facilitate this and empower you to improve your well-being and self-esteem, overcome anxieties and build more positive, genuine connections.

I am currently working towards a Masters’s degree in therapeutic counselling, and I am passionate about empowering others to improve their mental well-being.  I work integratively, meaning I have trained in various counselling approaches, namely CBT, psychodynamic and person-centred. This means we can work together to find which methods align most with your needs. I have an active interest in mindfulness, in harnessing the power of the mind to gain awareness of our current sensations and reconnect with our present moment. Often, we get caught up in the problems of our past and the pressure of the future, causing waves of anger, sadness, or chronic stress. Mindfulness can support us in managing these emotions and building resilience in the face of adverse life events.
