Rebecca Brownrigg

Rebecca has a BSc Psychology degree and is currently studying to become a fully trained counsellor using an integrative and relational approach. She will focus on building a relationship with you based on respect, care and trust and providing a warm and welcoming space where you can feel safe to explore your own unique concerns. Rebecca will always work at your own pace and support you in understanding yourself now and how the past has impacted on who and how you are today, by using different techniques and methods according to your own individual needs and preferred ways of working together. By incorporating a person-centred approach, with both psychodynamic and CBT to our sessions you can feel sure Rebecca is drawing on her knowledge and experience to empower you to make the changes you need in that moment in a supportive and non-judgmental way.

With a diverse background, Rebecca has lived and worked in a variety of countries and cultures and can offer sessions in both English and Spanish. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Spain and can understand the difficulties that come with difference and diversity and living away from support systems, such as family and friends.

Rebecca is an integrative counsellor trainee and is a registered student member of the BACP and follows their ethical guidelines as well as being a Psychology graduate with a membership of the BPS governing body. She continues to do extensive charity and volunteer work and believes in the core values held at Body and Mind Centre in that everyone deserves access to counselling.
